The incident began at approximately 11 p.m. in the parking lot of a Walmart in Lumberton.
According to police, an argument between two strangers escalated rapidly.
The suspect, Blake Reed, 38, allegedly reacted violently.
During the confrontation, he reportedly snatched another person’s eyeglasses.
He then retreated into an RV and refused to come out.
